Description international company seeks for the Paris office a GENERAL ACCOUNTANT :In charge of monthly US reporting and French accounting. Follow up and booking of transactions (mainly expenses and transactions linked to treasury). Preparation and payment of social and other taxes. Preparation of the annual tax return. Major Responsibilities : 1 Management of suppliers invoices. 2 Management of payroll booking. 3 Management of expenses reports. 4 Assets follow up. 5. Management of treasury following procedures 6. Management of the accruals and adjustments in the books 7. Monthly Accounts follow up 8. Preparation of the monthly reporting package 9. Preparation on time of taxes declarations and payments 10. Year end closing 11. Production and analysis of reports 12. Establishment of procedures 13. Improvement in the use of accounting systems.
Required Skills/Knowledge: Good level of English. Strong basic accounting knowledge (DECF level or equivalent). Solid payroll rules knowledge. Figures oriented. Practice of EXCEL. Practice of SAGE accounting system (general accounting , assets, yearly financial statement).
Experience Needed:International environment Between 3 and 5 years as an accountant working for customers within an accounting company or full-service accountant or accountant with similar responsibilities in a service company.
