For the Bioproducts group, based in Verviers, we are looking for an IT Assistant, for a one year contract.

Job description
The IT assistant
will help the IT Manager on every tasks about IT matters.
The tasks to perform are:
1. Take charge of the IT helpdesk (log and trouble shoot systems and applications issues)
2. Provide systems assistance within the European Organization (European sites and remote users : ~220 employees)
3. Assist day-to-day operation tasks (system & network administration, database management, backups, )
4. Maintain the systems accesses (network, ERP, intranet, …)
5. Maintain and develop the CRM application (Goldmine)

Profile:
- Graduate in IT or equivalent experience
- Technically experienced with Microsoft environments and networking technologies :
• Windows XP, NT – Active Directory
• Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint
• Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint
• LAN, WAN, Firewall and VPN infrastructure
- You are quality and (internal) customer focused
- You are able to handle pressure
- You have good knowledge of English (any other European languages like Dutch, German,… is considered as helpful)
- Open-minded, flexible & sense of urgency

Other requirements :

- Experience in programming (VB .NET, VBA, …) will be considered as helpful
- Knowledge of SAP ERP system is an asset



RMD Product Specialist
Germany
Rapid Microbial Detection




Main Responsibilities:
• He/She is responsible for generating sales growth and customer relation management within the assigned territory. This will be accomplished through direct selling activities for the Cambrex Bio Science RMD group;
• is an integral member of the German team of the European Rapid Microbial Detection group supporting internal & external (primarily German/Austrian) customers; therefore is the first line representative in the field for all technical support and sales for both external and internal Customers (Technical Service Specialist and Customer Service group);
• Ensures understanding of product group related strategies and integration into daily activities;
• Is responsible to collect, communicate and file all relevant information concerning customers, competitors, market information to enhance selling effectiveness.
• Utilizes the CRM and other IT tools to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness "in front of" the customer and aid sales;
• Is to be accountable for their business for planning, forecasting and achievement of objectives, key performance indictors and revenue forecasts in close cooperation with the RMD sales manager Germany;
• Drives and initiates development of new prospects and business opportunities and references. Identify and represent the Company in the framework of the quality statement of the company. Promote specialist area within market e.g. through demos, seminars and exhibitions;
• Maintains and develops strong relationships with key customers.



The Profile:
• Degree or diploma level qualification in Biological Sciences/Microbiology discipline
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, listening in German and English is necessary.
• Minimum three years of outside sales experience in a commercial life science enterprise. Sales experience with typical pharma QC clients concerning high value products is an asset.
• A proven hands on technical experience in laboratory environment is preferred;
• Excellent skills in service aimed customer relation management converting performance into effective sales
• Very organized person in order to handle several technical questions at each step of the sales activities (pre and after sales phases)
• Ability to solve problems creatively;
• Flexible attitude and strain resistant.
• A synergistic team player with the ability to work independently, with strong execution, planning and prioritization skills;
• Ability to actively motivate customers, team members and other colleagues where there is highly productive and enthusiastic outcome.
• Ability to properly use a PC and common software applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, email/internet access programs and understanding of CRM software.

The ideal candidate is a sales driven proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be autonomous and to build strong customer relations in a multicultural environment.
The candidate will also be asked to travel once or more per quarter to participate to sales meetings outside the territory.



Job description
The Key Account manager
therapeutic media and sera is responsible for the sales of custom mammalian cell culture media in liquid and powder to biotechnology and biopharmaceutical accounts in Southern Europe. This person will actively look for new accounts and maintain as well the existing customers. The Key account manager bioprocessing is responsible for the sales numbers and market analysis of the territory and is reporting directly to the worldwide marketing and sales director of Biotherapeutic media and sera.

Profile:
The ideal candidate has a university degree in Biology or Biotechnology, experience in cell culture techniques and several years commercial experience. We are looking for somebody who can work independent and is able to define and execute a sales strategy for the territory. He/she should have German as the native language and should be able to speak and write in English. Knowledge of Eastern languages is preferred. The candidate should be able to work with Microsoft office and to drive a car.
