RUSSIAN LOC/QA LEAD

Position based in Velizy, France (southwest of Paris)
Reports to: Localization and QA Manager
Countries to work with: Europe
Brands: Blizzard Games

MISSION

Head-up the Russian team - translators and QA testers (7-10 people).
Act as Linguistic Coordinator.
Manage the tasks and follow-ups for the Russian team.
Provide reporting and monitoring for the Localization and QA Manager.
Coordination with other language team leads for the translations and tests of Blizzard games.
Coordination with the other departments for glossarial consistency.
Ensure QA/tests of the Russian versions of Blizzard games.
Ensure QA/tests of the Russian sections of Blizzard websites.
Ensure consistency within the glossaries.
Ensure translations of Blizzard games and related assets.
Assist translators and testers as required.
Participate in translations and QA for Blizzard games and websites as required.

YOU

Native Russian language skills.
Excellent English language skills.
Excellent knowledge Blizzard games' mechanisms and background.
Good knowledge of MMORPG, consoles games, RTS and FPS games.
Previous experience as a team leader.
Strong motivation and high level of commitment.
Previous experience in game QA (PC/MAC & Consoles).
Previous experience in game localization.
Experience in website localization and technologies.
Permanent work contract

RUSSIAN QA/GAME TESTER

QA/testing of the Russian versions of Blizzard games.
QA/testing of the Russian sections of Blizzard web sites.
Ensure consistency with the glossary between games and web sites.
Help translators as required.

YOU

Native Russian language skills.
Excellent English language skills.
Excellent knowledge of heroic fantasy worlds and Blizzard games in general.
Good knowledge of MMORPG, consoles games, RTS and FPS games.
Excellent team-working skills.
Ability to work without supervision.
A strong motivation and a high level of commitment.
Previous experience in game QA (PC/MAC and Consoles (PS2, Gamecube and XBox)).
Basic knowledge in web technologies (HTML, XML, etc).
Permanent work contract
